So we are back home. Here is some of the trip back.
You actually drive across the runway to get from Spain into Gibraltar.
Here is a shot as we crossed, Notice the plane that had just finished landing
turning around in the background. They drop a gate and turn the traffic light red
when ever a plane lands or takes off. Pretty strange.
Killing time prior to our evening flight.
The Botanic Gardens are apparently the same age as me.
We arrived at London Gatwick Airport late at night and did not fly out
until late morning the next day. The busses had stopped running but a nice
cab driver took us the 44 miles to Heathrow. Of course, all most everything
was closed. But we did find a Starbucks that was open 24 hours.
Rita is turning over and Adria is sunk down in a seat with her back to the camera.
It is blurry as I was pretty groggy myself when I shot it at about 4 in the morning!
