This is as close as we were allowed. The arch seen here would have been behind the towers
and the broken building is a World Trade Center building but not one of the towers.

Rubble of another WTC building. The smoke rising to the left comes from "Ground Zero"

Here the close rubble is that other building, but in the background you can
see part of the North Tower. The smoke to the left would be from the South Tower.

Another angle showing the fence where people are placing wreaths and flowers.

Another view toward the smoke from the South Tower showing rubble from another WTC building.

Closer shot from same angle as previous shot.

Zoomed in tight on the same scene.

These last two are shot from the boat in the harbour. The arch was on the mall on the river side
of the WTC. Though still standing, the building to the left of the site shows severe damage.

Another river shot. This is the same arch visible in the shots from the other side that should
have been hidden by the Towers in those previous shots. Here the smoke fills the air in the
open space that did not exist as an open space prior to 9/11/2001. Seeing this space left
a truly empty feeling in us as well. Though we came to be more understanding of the New York
attitude of "rebuild it bigger than ever!" we personally still feel it is a tomb and as such
should be an open space with a cemetary for all those who's remains will never be recovered.
